Omoo-Omoo the Shark God plot

"Primitive Emotions! Wild Dangers!"

The captain of a ship steals the eyes, made of black pearls, from a deity from a tribe on the island of Tivi, and hides them in a secret place. When he becomes very ill shortly afterwards, he organizes a return trip to the island under false pretenses to replace the eyes.
