Okja plot
Lucy Mirando hopes to solve the future food problem by having 26 so-called 'super pigs' raised by 26 traditional farmers from different regions. After ten years, they want to determine the best way to breed these creatures for meat consumption. Mija grows up with one of the lab animals she calls Okja. But then a delegation from Mirando comes along to take Okja to New York where Lucy will personally determine which super pig is the most ideal. Mija decides to follow and rescue Okja with help from the unconventional activists of the Animal Liberation Front.
