Mis Ston plot

Resistance against the Ottoman Empire in Macedonia is rising. At the same time, various religious missions are trying to spread their influence among the people. A group of missionaries consists of American Miss Helen Stone and Mr. and Mrs. Tsilka, Macedonians who grew up in America. They leave Salonica, the stronghold of the Protestant missionaries, and head for Bansko to set up a new mission. Their journey is seized upon by Macedonian resistance fighters to get international attention for their situation and they kidnap Miss Stone.
