Lo Sparviero del Nilo plot

Leila returns to Egypt from Paris to take possession of the legacy her father left behind. Her cousin Ibrahim manages her belongings, unfortunately not always in her interest. Ibrahim deceives Rachid, a young sheik, by giving him men, supposedly to drill some Artesian wells, but in reality he is looking for gems. Rachid discovers the trick, but is ambushed and thought to be dead. Shortly afterwards, a mob, led by the "Hawk of the Nile", appears in the area and interrupts Ibrahim's excavations. Then Ibrahim captures Leila and forces her to marry him.
