The young D'Artagnan travels to Paris, where he hopes to become one of Louis XIII's Musketeers. D'Artagnan commits a series of blunders. He must face successive duels with Athos, Pothos and Aramis, three of the best swordsmen in the service of Her Majesty. But Cardinal Richelieu has issued a ban on the open practice of sword fighting.
