La Pelle a Scacchi plot

A young writer, seeking to escape the grind of modern life, travels with his girl Claudine to a deserted island. The young woman is tired of being treated as a sex object and commits suicide. When the writer afterwards stays in Africa with his friend Stefano, even the beautiful and exotic Arab Sadaf, his new girlfriend, cannot make Claudine forget. He is haunted by hallucinations and when he witnesses the murder of his friend Stefano, he is on the verge of madness with dramatic consequences...
