Drums of Africa plot
"Terror Strikes In The Jungle!"
In 1897, the engineer Moore is sent to East Africa to plan a new railway route. He is accompanied by Ferrers, the cousin of the owner of the railway company. Arriving in Edwardstown, the guide Cuortemayn refuses to accompany them because he does not want the railway to affect the character of Africa. Cuortemayn and Ruth Knight, an employee of the local mission, warn the two not to move into the area as slave traders are active in the area. Moore and Ferrers ignore the advice and get lost in the wilderness. They are rescued by Cuortemayn and Ruth and a romance is in the air between Moore and Ruth. Cuortemayn decides to guide them anyway. Ruth leaves for the mission's hospital, but is captured by the slave traders on the way.
