The year of the Lord 1500. Knight Götz von Bredow from Brandenburg wears leather trousers. This, he is obliged to his class, may never be washed, much to the annoyance of his wife, Lady Brigitte. To a savage drinking laugh it comes about, but the pants disappear at the same time. And then it turns out that a knight without (leather) pants is not a knight (who commands respect)
