Clowning Around plot

Fifteen-year-old Sim wants to become a clown. His foster parents think he's out of his mind, but his foster sister Linda and his friend Jack Merrick take him seriously. Then Sim gets to know the French clown Anatole. Anatole is willing to teach Sim the trade, but on Anatole's terms.
