Zinda Dil plot

Twin brothers Arun and Kewal Sharma live together with their father Hemraj, a war veteran who has to walk on crutches because of the battle. Their father has a soft spot for Kewal, but openly disapproves of Arun, alienating him from him. He constantly asks Arun to make sacrifices for Kewal, including giving up his lover. Broken, Arun leaves his father's house and goes to work in a hotel. There Arun discovers that his mother is still alive. Startled, he seeks her out and asks her to confront his father.
