Virtually Heroes plot

"Ctrl... Alt... Defeat"

Sergeant Books is angry. He knows he's a character in a bad video game with absurdly powerful bosses, superfluous combat, and endless supplies of virtual Viet Cong. But he can't get a hold of the beautiful journalist at the end of each level and he can't get through to his plucky partner, Nova, who thinks it's great to be in a game. With the help of a righteous monk, Books learns the cheat codes of life. He decides to leave the endless battles behind and follow his own path.
