The Exploits of Elaine plot
Elaine Dodge is the beautiful daughter of Taylor Dodge, the president of a large insurance company. When Taylor is murdered by a mysterious cape-clad figure known as The Clutching Hand, Elaine enlists the help of Craig Kennedy to uncover the killer's identity. The two get help from Jameson, Taylor's clumsy secretary. On their quest, they experience breathtaking and bizarre adventures, including a seance in which Taylor's ghost appears.
