"Take a Ride on the Wild Side."
Belle, a bicycle delivery woman, decides to use her talent for speed to become a taxi driver. She soon becomes famous for tearing through the city at 135 mph. A certain policeman, who does not have this driving style, manages to persuade Belle to come and work for him. Together they go in search of a gang of gorgeous, female bank robbers.

Thought this was a nice comedy at the time with a good role by Queen Latifah. Besides the fact that it was quite a funny movie, there were also quite a few beautiful ladies (the bank robbers) in it 
Jennifer Esposito as police commissioner was also very nice.

My grade is not entirely fair, because I actually gave up after a minute. After the masked, slender cyclist pulls out the most bizarre stunts and then miraculously gains fifty kilos and turned out to be Queen Latifah, I had my grade and actually the review ready.
Still, I watched the movie. For lack of better, because my other choice turned out to be a series of channels with horribly bad Arabic series and films and news programs about Ramadan (holiday in Morocco, that's why). In any case, some expectations came true. That it was about ugly, souped-up cars, unstable characters and poorly acting models (these don't belong in movies either, guys...). The special effects were definitely a lot uglier than I expected. A small plus is that Taxi does not contain an excessive amount of hip-hop. I thought the remake was so bad that I doubt the original is worth it. I never want to see this monstrosity again.

Comedy that is all in all a success. Don't expect truthful images, but the story is fun enough to hold the attention. Nice camera work at times.
