Sucker plot

"Payback's an itch"

Beloved loser Jim Crawley is having a bad day. He is fired from the nuclear power plant where he worked for eleven years, his car is impounded and he finds out that his wife is having an affair with his ex-colleague. To make matters worse, Jim is kidnapped by a malevolent scientist who is testing a controversial vaccine against a deadly virus spreading around the world. As it turns out, years of exposure to nuclear radiation and a serum of rare insect DNA isn't working out well for Jim. He mutates into a large, blood-sucking, half-human, half-insect bent on revenge.
