Butte Morgan, the manager of a circus, wants to get his hands on the circus. That is why he wants to marry Marie Wallace, the daughter of the circus owner. Marie herself is in love with Jack Grant, the star of the circus. Morgan's greed knows no bounds and he is willing to take drastic measures, such as forced marriage. Even a kidnapping is not too much for him, as long as he succeeds in his plan.
