Sharpe's Peril plot
The year is 1818. Lieutenant Colonel Richard Sharpe and his aide-de-camp travel through perilous parts of India, escorting the beautiful Marie-Angelique Bonnet. Along the way, they come across a curious British army camp: an undisciplined mess led by a very young officer. Sharp and his party decide to spend the night there. That evening, the camp is ambushed by the infamous bandit Chitu. There are several casualties. When the dust settles, Sharpe realizes that he is the only one left able to lead this caravan safely to the next camp. But the adventure has only just begun.
