Rubezh plot
The young cynical businessman Mikhail Chourov manages a number of lands for the construction of future apartments in Saint Petersburg for an unscrupulous project developer. But one of his projects is on hold because activists accuse him of trying to destroy a historic site. Frankly, Chourov doesn't give a damn what happens to the remains of Red Army soldiers. Determined to teach these rebellious activists a lesson, he confronts them. Once face to face with the activists, a sudden landslide throws a spanner in the works. Chourov is still on the same historic site... but now in 1943 during the siege of Leningrad. The banks of the Neva will become a grave for more than two hundred thousand soldiers and Chourov will be in the middle of it.
