Young police sergeant Pat O'Hara directs radio traffic to and from the Chicago police station. Pat helps young Pinky Adams search for the killer of his father John P. Adams. Adams Sr. was the inventor of bulletproof steel and criminals want to kidnap Pinky to find out where the documents containing the formula are. Pat can count on the support of the attractive Molly Selkirk and the clever German Shepherd "Irish" in tracking the criminals.
