Phoenix plot

Fiona "Phoenix" Grant, a US Army veteran, is in Afghanistan when she learns that her father, a prominent security specialist, has been killed in Florida. The police report says it was suicide, but Fiona doesn't believe it. Encouraged by her commanding officer, Fiona takes a leave of absence. She heads back to the United States and soon learns that the prime suspect is Maxim Vasiliiev, a ruthless drug kingpin with an army of mercenaries and enough legal, political and business clout to keep him out of the law. Armed to the teeth, she plans to take out Vasiliiev and nothing will stop her.
