Oro Diablo plot

The village of Papayal is located in the Amazon jungle. Life there is ruled by violence, greed and vice. It has grown along mines where gold has been found and where the environment has been totally destroyed. Apart from the bar and brothel, there is nothing the residents can do but work. One day, the mother of a teenager named Isabel and her lover steal the gold from a miner named El Gallego and flee the village. Isabel is forced to pay the debts through working at the brothel. She tries to relax but is caught by the police and meets Cae, a young man brought by a trader to work in the mine. Back in Papayal, Isabel falls in love with Cae, who tells her that her mother and her lover have been murdered.
