"When there is no tomorrow..."
An injured man calls the police. In a hysterical way he explains to the police that some idiot has gone crazy in a cafe and is shooting at random at anything that moves. Gary is completely on the ground. He has lost his job, his family and his house and he trades in his last possession for a gun, with the idea of putting an end to it. During the day he runs into a number of people who all have their own problems and their own way of dealing with life. All their paths finally cross at the offending cafe on October 22.
