Furiko (Meiko Kaji) and Ryumei live peacefully in Shinjyuku. To the horror of the neighborhood they live a rough hippie / bohemian life. When Ryumei's father, an influential politician, asks the local motorcycle club to surround Ryumei's trailer, Ryumei stabs a gang member to protect Furiko. Ryumei flees and suspicion quickly falls on Furiko when the police find her with a bloodied knife in her hand.
