Murder at the Embassy plot
The year is 1934. Miranda Green is now a private detective. She leaves England for Egypt. She must investigate a murder committed in a supposedly inviolable location: the British Embassy in Cairo, where a top-secret document was stolen that very night. Everyone present in this locked room is a suspect: the American photographer, the English student, the American actress, the Egyptian guard, the ambassador's interpreter, the Egyptian gardener, and—why not?—the ambassador himself.

A kind of Agatha Christie goes Indiana Jones, but cheap-looking and uninteresting. The characters fail to impress, the visuals are sparse, and they lack any character. 1.5 stars.
