Mircea plot

King Mircea I the Elder has been ruler of medieval Romania (Walachia) for forty years. Through the eyes of his grandson Vlad Tepes, we see how he and his small nation try to resist the Ottomans who invade his country again and again. In addition, he must resist the political intrigue within his own family and transfer the fanaticism to remain independent from the great empires around Wallachia to his descendants.
