Jupiter Ascending
A science fiction movie directed by the creators of The Matrix starring Mila Kunis, Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean... Nothing can go wrong right? Well, Jupiter Ascending has been messed up by an incredibly bad script, mediocre CGI and poor acting.
The film jumps from one thing to the next and wants to tell so much that at a given moment there is no more rope to tie. But worse, you don't really care what happens to the characters because they have wooden eyes and no personality of any kind. And they have to act in a ghastly CGI environment that never comes to life. A little more humor would have done the film well, but only Kunis has a one-liner here and there. No, forget this movie ASAP.

Don't get negative comments. Graphically this is top-notch. CGI good quality. Story good too. It's a complicated story. Not just a mindless action that doesn't require you to think too much, but a fairly difficult story. Dialogues not always simple and certain scenes quite busy. As a result, I sometimes replayed a few scenes to understand what I was seeing. Graphically quite busy at times and a bit elongated and confusing at times, but in the end understandable. Is a purebred SF. You must like the genre...

I think this is a wonderful movie.
Both the story and the speed with which it all comes along appeal to me.
The special effects are well done. For an SF enthusiast, this is definitely a must to see.
The acting is also not to be faulted. This is a movie you just have to enjoy.
