Heavens: The Boy and His Robot plot

In the not-too-distant future, humanity has expanded its reach far beyond Earth thanks to cosmic forces. This unleashes an eternal battle for resources, including with Mars. Eighteen-year-old Kai, whose father was killed in battle, wants to do his part and enrolls in the Mecha Corps Academy, where he will learn to pilot a large robot. With the support of his team, Kai overcomes his weaknesses and earns his own robot, which he names Little Dragon.
