Dead Awake plot

"Evil never sleeps"

Desmond King has everything his heart desires, a great job, a successful beautiful girlfriend and a nice apartment. He only has one big problem; he suffers from an unprecedented insomnia and has not had a good night's sleep in ten months. He spends the nights on the street with dark figures who make the area unsafe. One night he unwittingly becomes involved in a murder and his life turns into a nightmare. Desmond is immediately seen as a suspect. With no alibi and with a lawyer more interested in selling the TV rights to the story than defending Desmond, he is forced to find the killer himself.
