"The shortest distance between two points is disaster."
One day disaster strikes in Los Angeles, a massive earthquake. The whole city is upside down. One of the victims is Dillon, an old ice hockey player. Along with him, 4 other people are trapped in a subway tunnel. Aftershocks make it difficult to send a rescue team, the whole city is hit and no solution can be found for the 5 victims. Then a fire breaks out. They punch a hole in the wall of the tunnel because that's where the water pipe is, but the hole gets bigger and bigger.
