Buying Time plot

Jabber, Reno and Dez are guys from the city who are into the smaller gambling and scam business. But Jabber, Reno and Dez's fortunes come to an end when they are arrested while trying to get their winnings back from an unscrupulous bookmaker. Dez has meanwhile become involved in his own trading venture: drug trafficking. He is brutally murdered by Cody, a psychopathic hit man. Jabber and Reno learn of their friend's death while being questioned about their role in the gambling incident. In a last-ditch effort to catch the culprits, Jabber allows himself to be used to aid the authorities in shadowing Curtis King, the only likely suspect in this case.
