Before Dawn plot

"Before dawn, people will rise and other people will take away their hope."

At dawn, the refugees are barely distinguishable against the contours of waving wheat fields. The morning silence is broken by the sound of a rattling truck. When the truck has come to a standstill, the deserted fields appear to be infested with small silhouettes that jump into the truck en masse. Their dream seems within reach.
