Bakumatsu Kôkôsei plot

Japan 1868, in Edo fighting between government and Shogunate troops is about to erupt. To prevent bloodshed, Katsu Kaishu tries to contact the influential samurai Saigou Takamori to negotiate a peaceful solution. Along the way, he meets schoolteacher Mikako who claims to be from the future. She already knows that Katsu Kaishu's plan will work. However, events seem to be going to end differently and history seems to be changing as a result, with all the consequences that entails.
