Robert Rath (Sylvester Stallone) is the best hit man out there, but he wants to end it. Miguel Bain (Antonio Banderas), on the other hand, a passionate slayer, wants to become the numero uno of his shadowy profession by eliminating Rath. Nice action movie that looks good with excellent performances from Stallone and especially Banderas. I think he was really into it!
The story is easy to follow and also quite well developed (that's something that sometimes falls short in these kinds of films) and the interaction between Stallone and Banderas is excellent.

One of the better action thrillers I've seen. The time has rightly been taken to carefully work out the plot, this keeps the suspense well until the end and the film retains a touch of mystery. The identity of the client remains well hidden. Nice to see also the equipment of that time, with which the assassins communicate with the client. Due to the strong acting of Stallone and Banderas + the necessary action, it never gets boring and it remains fascinating to watch.

Excellent action film by Donner, who had a patent on this in the 1990s. Stallone isn't great here but still interacts nicely with Banderas and Moore plays a good part (she doesn't know how to irritate, which is usually the case in such roles). The smooth direction, well edited, beautiful images and a strong climax ensure that the long playing time never feels that way.
