Three young Americans, Max, Rudy and Johnny, enlist in an elite special corps. The horrors of war put an end to their years of friendship. Johnny freaks out and turns on Rudy and Max as they try to prevent the torture of a young Cambodian girl. Johnny wants revenge. Twenty years later, Rudy owns a cafe in a village on a tropical coast. His idyllic life is shattered when his sister Angela is kidnapped. Desperate, Rudy calls on Max, his former buddy and now a disappointed hit man for the CIA. Together they go looking for Angela.
