Against the Tide plot

When the former Navy Seal Wilder suddenly becomes a real environmental champion, his selfish neighbors and fellow villagers don't understand. A hostile atmosphere reigns in the small fishing town in the New England region. Everyone is busy keeping their heads above water with the coming winter ahead. Fish price wars, gossip, boat and equipment sabotage and theft are the order of the day. Then everyone is shaken awake when their very existence is threatened by a Navy submarine that wants to dump nuclear waste in their harbor.
