Cologne Cathedral is about to collapse, but fortunately archivist Sebastian Hellmann (Jan Sosniok) discovers an ancient scripture that says a diamond the size of a coconut once held the Cathedral together. However, after a fire, it was stolen and ended up in Africa. Supported by Alex Jansen (Mirja Boes), he goes in search of this diamond, called Marakunda. However, there are many more people looking for the diamond.
