The first trailer for the new series of You has been released, as we get a glimpse of Joe now prowling the streets of London after fleeing the United States.
You has emerged as one of Netflix's most popular shows since the first season premieried in 2018.
It tells the story of Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager who is a stalker and serial killer. In season one, he targets student Beck, while in two and three the object of his desires and violence is Love.
In season three, we are introduced to the character of Marienne, whom Joe becomes infatuated with.
From the new trailer for season four, we can see that Joe has apparently followed Marienne and her daughter to London, apparently having failed to shake that infatution.
Joe is also seeking to run away from his crimes in America, with the body count rising throughout the first three seasons.
Sporting a new beard, Joe has apparently somehow gained a position as a university professor which has put him in some rather esteemed company. From the trailer, we can determine that Joe's new love interest, or more likely target, is Kate, an art gallery director played by Charlotte Ritchie.
He is trying his hardest to fight those old urges, but when someone idenfities him from his murderous past, he must use his new-found social status to find them.
