The first trailer has been released for Speak No Evil, a terrifying new horror starring James McAvoy.
It is a remake of the 2022 Danish movie of the same name, which emerged as one of the most infamous horrors of recent memory due to the subject matter, twists and violence.
The official premise of the remake reads:
'A dream holiday in a beautiful country house becomes a psychological nightmare.'
It stars McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Dan Hough, and Scoot McNairy.
Those of us who have seen the original know what to expect so prepare yourself for a harrowing couple of hours if the remake goes down the same narrative path.
James Watkins of Eden Lake and The Woman in Black is writing and directing the remake, with the original being developed by Christian and Mads Tafdrup.
