There are three major cinema releases this week, and we have all the details for you.
2024 was a massive year for cinema, with the summer period flourishing thanks to the releases of Barbie and Oppenheimer. The movies were released around the same time and many cinema-goers actually did the double-feature, which was affectionately named 'Barbenheimer'.

New Movie Releases this week
Poor Things premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in September and was subsequently released in the United States in December. The United Kingdom has had to wait a little bit longer but we can finally see Yorgos Lanthimos's fantasy black comedy starring Emma Stone from this week.
Stone recently won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her performance in the movie which has led to major Oscar buzz for her also.

The Boys in the Boat is a biographical sports drama film produced and directed by George Clooney.

Jason Statham's next action epic is The Beekeeper, directed by David Ayer and written by Kurt Wimmer.
