2024 was a massive year for cinema, with the summer period flourishing thanks to the releases of Barbie and Oppenheimer. The movies were released around the same time and many cinema-goers actually did the double-feature, which was affectionately named 'Barbenheimer'.

The Von Erich family is one of the most famous families in the history of wrestling, but their dynasty has been overshadowed by what has been dubbed the 'Von Erich Curse' after various deaths and tragedies. Zac Efron plays Kevin Von Erich, while Jeremy Allen White plays his brother, Kerry.

Origin is a biographical drama film written and directed by Ava DuVernay, based on the book Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson.

Gassed Up - 9 February, 2024
Gassed Up is a British crime movie directed by George Amponsah and co-written by Archie Maddocks with Taz Skylar. It premiered at the London Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Best Feature.

'Ash is part of a moped street-gang in London, using his earnings from petty thefts to support his family but struggles with the moral complexities of his actions when a jewellery heist alerts an Albanian crime family to his crew.'
