It has been reported that the third Deadpool movie will be packed full of cameos, with Jennifer Garner, Daniel Radcliffe and Liev Schrieber rumoured to appear as Elektra, a young Wolverine and Sabretooth respectively.
There are strong rumours that Swift might appear as Dazzler, a mutant with musical abilities. Her likeness for that character was used in a short scene in X-Men: Apocalypse.
It seems like we'll need to wait and see in the cinema whether Taytay turns up.
“They sure are loud,” Levy told The Wrap about the rumours.
“I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”
Swift has made her own impact on cinema recently as her recently released movie Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has become the most successful concert film of all time, with takings so far of around $125m.
The success of the Taylor Swift 'Eras Tour' continues on the big screen. The concert recording of her tour is directed by Sam Wrench. Wrench previously worked on concert films by Billie Eilish, Lizzo and BTS, among others. The concert film was shot during Taylor Swift's first three shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Levy did take the time to praise Swift for that cinematic milestone.
“(Steven) Spielberg was on the set of a movie he produced that I directed, called Real Steel, and I said to him, ‘How do you know it’s the right shot?’" he told Entertainment Weekly.
"His answer was, ‘The way you see it, that makes it right.’ I feel like that’s something Taylor Swift has figured out really well, because that’s about trusting your instinct."
