The brand new trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI has been released and it's nothing like anything we've seen before.
The GTA series is one of the most popular video game franchises of all time and certainly one of the most lucrative.
Grand Theft Auto V alone sold over 190 million copies worldwide and was the fastest game in history to reach $1 billion in sales - a milestone it reached within just three days.
It has been 10 years since that game was released and fans have been eagerly anticipated the next instalment for over a decade.
In the first seven hours since the new trailer's release, it has been watched 41 million times on YouTube.
It definitely seems like this one is going to be worth the wait as the graphics are, quite honestly, terrifyingly impressige. The story is going to follow the character of Lucia, who will be the first-ever female lead protagonist in the series.
At the beginning of the trailer, we see that Lucia is in jail. After she gets out, she joins forces with her partner in what appears to be a Bonnie and Clyde-style crime spree.
GTA VI is set within the fictional state of Leonida which features Vice City, the setting for the 2002 game of the same name.
No release date has been announced yet, but it is coming in 2025.
