The first trailer for Dream Scenario, starring Nicolas Cage, has been released.
The movie tells the story of an ordinary man, a college professor named Paul Matthews who suddenly starts appearing in everyone's dreams. After enjoying the limelight at first, things take a turn as Paul's fame becomes increasingly dangerous.
Cast: Nicolas Cage, Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula and Dylan Baker.
Dream Scenario premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and has already received acclaim from the outlets that were present at the first showing.

Judging from the trailer, it seems the role of Paul is a bit of a deviation from the recent norm for Cage, who has played larger-than-life characters like Dracula in Renfield, Red in Mandy and, of course, himself in The Unbearable Weight of Massive talent over the last few years.
Paul is mild-mannered, at least to begin with, but we'll probably see some of that Cage eccentricity as the movie progresses.
Dream Scenario is written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli.
