It is no secret that Deadpool 3 will likely be packed full of cameos, with Jennifer Garner appearing as Elektra and Liev Schrieber potentially returning as Sabretooth.
But, the most high-profile cameo could actually be Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe. According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, he received information from a source who suggested that Radcliffe had been cast in a 'secret role'.
Now, it is highly likely that this secret role will have something to do with Wolverine.
For years now, fans have been dream casting the next Logan when Hugh Jackman finally hangs up his claws, with Radcliffe emerging as a potential contender.
Deadpool 3 will address the multiverse within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we have already seen characters from alternate timelines turn up in the MCU. Therefore, it is very possible that Radcliffe might be playing an alternate version of Wolverine.
This would make even more sense when you consider the shape he's currently in.
Within TV show Miracle Workers, Radcliffe plays a different character in every season, and in the fourth, he features as a 'Road Warrior' in a post-apocalyptic wasteland akin to Fury Road. In one episode, he strips down to his pants to take on an army of dangerous robots.
His buff, ripped look is a million miles away from his Harry Potter physique, and he really does have the makings of a younger Logan.
Production on Deadpool 3 is currently suspended due to the ongoing actor and writer strike, but fans are still excited at the prospect of finally seeing Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool finally reunite on-screen after the disaster that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Daniel Radcliffe comments on Wolverine speculation
Radcliffe has actually commented on the Wolverine speculation before, and he believes he is only linked with the role because he is short!
"It's purely a press tour rumour; I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way so I say something different, and that sets it off again," he told GQ.
"I should just never open my mouth."
He explained that he wouldn't "ever want to get locked into something that I am not sure I will be able to love the same amount the whole time".
Radcliffe previously said on The View: "This is something that comes up every so often, I think because in the comics Wolverine is short, so every so often they're like, 'Who's a short actor?' There's never been any actual truth to it. Every so often I get bored of answering the questions sensibly, so I just make a joke... but there's nothing going on."
Yeah, yeah, Daniel...
