The premise for the upcoming romantic comedy involves two people invited to a wedding in Australia who must convince the other guests that they are together - despite the fact they hate each other.
It is directed by Will Gluck, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ilana Wolpert.
A fairly simple set-up but we can already see from the trailer that the chemistry between Sweeney and Powell is sizzling, so this should be fun.
Indeed, the pair have actually had to deal with press speculation that they had an affair on-set while Powell was still in a relationship.
"When all that stuff happened, you know, publicly, it felt disorienting and unfair. But what I’m realizing is that's just a part of this gig now," he told Men's Health of what he called 'the alleged affair.'"
Sweeney is taking the rumours in her stride, too, telling Variety:
"It's a rom-com. That's what people want!
"Glen and I don't really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he's such a hard worker, and I'm a hard worker. We're excited for the press tour, and I literally just left ADR with him. We talk all the time like, 'That's really funny'."
Anyone But You cast: Sydney Sweeney, Glen Powell, Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths.
