Sony's Spider-Man Universe will expand in 2024 with the releases of Madame Web and Kraven The Hunter, in addition to the third Venom movie.

After the scathing reviews that Madame Web received, the pressure is on for the other two movies as they attempt to give the aforementioned universe some gravitas.

We now know that Venom 3 will be called Venom: The Last Dance.

What is the plot Venom: The Last Dance?

There isn't an official premise yet, but the movie will undoubtedly tie into the post-credits scenes in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Venom: Let There Be Carnage in which Eddie Brock is transported into the same universe as Peter Parker. 

However, it is unlikely we are going to see Venom vs. Spider-Man just yet.

“I know everyone is desperate for Venom to meet Spider-Man," Let There Be Carnage director Andy Serkis previously told ScreenRant.

"But I think there’s real mileage in some of the other supervillains that reside in Ravencroft. There’s such fertile ground to be uncovered there. That would be the sandbox I’d be really interested in playing in. Who’s lurking in there that could break out?”

Tom Hardy and Kelly Marcel wrote the screenplay, while Marcel is also directing.

Venom 3 stars Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Clark Backo. It hasn't been confirmed if Michelle Williams will reprise her role from the first two movies.

It’s been so much fun and I got to work with such cool people. I’ve been so lucky in my career to just have the most incredible casts. I can’t wait for it to get out into the world. I think it’s going to be a good one.”
