Sinds Avatar op 27 december 2010 ben ik weer naar de bioscoop gegaan.

This Means War is mijn 1ste bezoek sinds meer dan een jaar.

Avatar draaide eind 2009 al, ben je echt December 2010 gegaan?

Ik geloof het wel. Het was wel in de winter toen ik naar Avatar ging. En dat was ook mijn laatste ervaring, tot zover mijn herinnering.

Voor precies dit jaar weet ik het (nog) niet, maar gisteren zag ik mijn 2100e film op het grote doek (2100 verschillende dan wel te verstaan): bioscoop, filmhuis, filmmuseum, festivals etc. Dat is 30% van het totaal aantal films dat ik zag (bijna 7000).

Het werd The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Niet direct een film die je bij mij zou verwachten, maar onverwacht was de kleine bij opa en oma en hebben mijn vrouw en ik ergens gegeten en weer eens samen een filmpje gepakt. Ze mocht kiezen tussen Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close en deze (Intouchables wil ik voor geen goud zien), dus het werd Marigold. Film was beter dan verwacht, al zal ik deze week ook nog wel naar de première van Elena gaan, die ik eigenlijk voor deze "mijlpaal" in gedachten had

1/3 in de bios is erg netjes, bij mij is het denk ik 1/5 ongeveer

Heb Banishment pas gezien, dus ben ook helemaal klaar voor Elena!!

Nu ik dit gezegd heb, schaam ik me ook een beetje, want qua gezien films dit jaar (DVD, bioscoop en TV) kom ik op 109 uit
