Tegenwoordig laat men liever een volbloed indiaan een indianenrol spelen. Nadeel dan weer dat daarvan er maar weinig zijn, dus zien we (te) vaak dezelfde. Wes Studi bijvoorbeeld.

Qua squaws zijn er al aardig wat voorbij gekomen. Sommige actrices zijn wat getypecast, zoals Debra Paget en Gloria Talbott. Anderen 1 tot 2x.

Verder opvallend dat er van tv-series maar weinig geschikte stills en foto's zijn, nog los van de (te) vele foto's met watermerken, banners en logo's. Rawhide is uitzondering qua keuze in stills.
