De western

Oplossing laatste raadsel was Rock Hudson. Op 1 van de bijgaande foto's Rock Hudson als indiaan. Wist ik niet.

Misschien is hier een nieuw thema uit te halen: "Blanke actrices/acteurs in een indianenrol". Er zijn in Hollywood maar heel weinig acteurs van Indiaanse afkomst geweest en nog.

Gemakshalve tel ik bij dit thema de door indianen buitgemaakte blanken zoals in The Searchers en Dances with Wolves.

Nu schieten mij Henry Brandon, Joan Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Donna Reed, Jean Peters, Lex Barker, Keith Larsen , Mary McDonnell, Natalie Wood, Debrah Padget en Burt Lancaster te binnen.

Tja, die Robert Blake was wel een doorgewinterde "Indiaan"natuurlijk.

In zijn jonge jaren was hij al wereldberoemd als Little Beaver", in de zeer populaire Red Ryder westerns.

Als ik het goed heb speelde hij die rol in niet minder dan 22 films.

Hij heette toen nog Bobby Blake.
