Bijna niks van de jaren 50 gezien. Alleen Dial M For Murder vind ik noemenswaardig en waarschijnlijk in de toekomst Vertigo en Rear Window.

Opnieuw een knap decennium met nieuwe eposverfilmingen. Iets minder warm zoals de jaren '30, maar dan wel weer grootser met sterke verhalen en acteerprestaties. Ook leuk is de terugkeer van de musical die hier in de '50 betere choreografieën bevat (denk aan Band Wagon en Singin' in the rain)

Nog geen jaren '30-films gezien dan met choreografieën van Busby Berkeley? ....

De terugkeer van musicals ??? In de jaren '40 heb je ook nog bekende musicalfilms: Lijst van musicalfilms - Wikipedia - nl.wikipedia.org Anchors aweigh en Easter parade zijn toch heel bekende en die lijsten zijn nog niet eens volledig. MGM maakte in die jaren '40 al heel wat musicalfilms.

Daar zie je toch ook wel dat jaren 30's bekendere titels kent en jaren '40 niet echt de klassiekers heeft voortgebracht. Pas in de jaren '50 kwamen er terug sterke musicals.

Geweldig decennium. 3 maal Hitchcock, 2 maal Wilder, 3 maal 1957 zelfs.
