59 films gezien. Veel tips staan er nou niet in.

Simonvinkie, aardige lijst met veeal zeer bekende titels. Ik heb er 94 van gezien en moet nu toch eens werk gaan maken van The French Connection en Zodiac.

Goldenskull 60 films van gezien, waarvan de meesten wel goed, al zitten er ook wel wat mindere tussen. Van de overige films wel een aantal in bezit en echt het meest benieuwd naar: Mimi wo Sumaseba.

Dog Day Afternoon staat er 2x in, simon. Verder zag ik er 4 nog niet (Casino, La Haine, Rescue Dawn en The Last King of Scotland).

Ook even de tijd genomen om er mijn persoonlijke 100 bij te halen. Is niet altijd even evident om die in een correcte volgorde te gooien, aangezien mijn voorkeuren van tijd tot tijd nog al eens durven verschillen. Het is ook geen top van de “beste” films aller tijden geworden. Wat dat betreft sluit ik mij graag aan bij de IMdB250, die toch door een wereldwijde jury verkozen is. Hoe kan immers één enkeling bepalen wat de beste of de slechtste film is? Alleszins, deze lijst vertegenwoordigt 100 films die ik persoonlijk graag zie, in een volgorde zoals deze mij momenteel bevalt.

- #1 is nooit anders geweest,

- Er staan zeker een aantal films met een matig verhaal in de lijst. Ik zie ook graag films met mooie beelden van fauna en flora, landschappen en vreemde culturen, of soms zelfs films met goede gesprekken tussen eenvoudige oude rotten (57, 84), etc.

- Ik heb nog een twintigtal andere films 4 sterren gegeven. Nummer 100 staat er dus eigenlijk meer als statement. Een tamelijk grappig filmke dat door liefhebbers van Frankie Miller wel eens geapprecieerd zou kunnen worden.

Maar liefst 25 nieuwe binnenkomers, waarvan Natural Born Killers en 2046 herintreders in de lijst zijn. De snelste stijgers binnen mijn lijst: Ivanovo Detstvo ( + 48 ), Crna Macka, Beli Macor ( + 33 ) en Tian Bian yi Duo Yun ( + 32 ). De snelste dalers: Jules et Jim ( - 40 ), Into the Wild ( - 35 ) en Pierrot le Fou ( - 26 ). Mijn Nouvelle Vague adoratie is dus weer enigzins gaan liggen.

Afgelopen jaar heb ik vooral veel goede animatiefilms gezien. Naast Mary and Max, Ponyo on a Cliff & Genius Party Beyond, scoorden ook Genius Party en The Sky Crawlers een 4,5*, maar liepen dankzij de hevige concurrentie toch een top 100 notering mis. Verder constateer ik in mijn lijst een flinke opmars van komedies, zo moest ik o.a. slechts afscheid nemen van 2 komedies ( Annie Hall & One, Two, Three ) en mocht ik er 6 verwelkomen.

Enkele statistieken: De 100 films komen uit 22 verschillende landen, grootste marktaandeelhouders zijn: Verenigde Staten (25), Japan (21), Frankrijk (13). Als ik de films verdeel naar continent, krijgen we de volgende rekensom: Europa (45), Azië (27), Noord - Amerika (25), Oceanië (2) en Latijns - Amerika (1).

Tot slot een overzicht, waarin je ziet uit welk decennia de films stammen:

1940 - 1949: 1%

1950 - 1959: 3%

1960 - 1969: 10%

1970 - 1979: 5%

1980 - 1989: 7%

1990 - 1999: 20%

2000 - 2009: 54%

Hele mooie lijst Max, daar staan er zeker een paar tussen die hoog op de to-see lijst staan. Ook leuk om die statistieken te lezen

Zeker mooie lijst. Stuk of 65 van gezien + een heel aantal die al (lang) op m'n to-see lijst staan. Mooie nieuwkomers en niet treurig om afvallers. Maar wat Man of Fire in de lijst doet begrijp ik niet helemaal. En Monty Python... mja.

Leuk ook dat je Kubrick's telefoonnummer er ff bij hebt gezet...

Weliswaar al bijna 80 van gezien, maar toch nog een tipje gevonden in Shinkokyû no Hitsuyô. Zal hem op de lijst zetten . Zeer aardig lijstje trouwens.

En zo is het voor mij weer onbegrijpelijk dat jij The Passion of the Christ in je lijst hebt opgenomen of valt voor Twilight. Ik zie overigens genoeg mankementen aan Man on Fire, maar het wraakthema en de visuele hoogstandjes maken de film telkens weer de moeite waard. En Life of Brian zit nu eenmaal in mijn systeem geprogrammeerd.

Vooral je nr. 1 en je nummer 97!

IJzersterke lijst. Ik heb er 53 van gezien, maar ik kan me in de meeste titels zeker vinden en een hoop van de rest wil ik ook graag zien. Goede nieuwe binnenkomers als Vinyan en Small Gods ook.

Overigens is de lijst met flims die buiten de boot vallen zo mogelijk nog imposanter. Ik verwacht Walkabout dan ook weer terug volgend jaar!

61 films van Maxcomthrilla's lijst gezien. Voornamelijk goede films gelukkig.

Als compromis wellicht, als ik Amelie volgend jaar weer op nr. 1 positioneer.

Walkabout blijft een bijzondere en mooie film, maar ik vond een 4,5* zonder top 100 notering ( na herziening ), voorlopig even meer dan genoeg.
